Saturday is a LOOOOOOONG day ... bus driver will need to get some sleep ... can someone please take him from the competition site to a nearby hotel ... then back again later?

Also ... the bar that connects the vibe pedal .... the hole has been stripped ... needs to be tap and die (??)  Anyone know of someone who can fix this??  Soon??!!??

LONESTAR schedule

5:45     At bandhall, well rested ….you went home and straight to bed after the game

5:50     Uniform check (SOLID BLACK socks, shoes, ROCK DRUMS shirt)

5:55     Depart–This will be a SILENT bus ride –eyes closed-we’ll talk about this

10:05   Arrive, check-in, etc.  Be sure you have EVERYTHING – the bus may leave!
            WE ARE IN PERFORMANCE MODE from here on out!

10:20   EAT (Bring sack lunch)
            STILL IN PERFORMANCE MODE!!!  Stay focused!!

10:50   Change into uniform

11:10   Move to warmup

11:30   Warm-up and SHOW – full uniform

12:10   Break–you only have 10 MINUTES!!!
            Everyone drink O.J. !!!

12:20   SHOW RUN – full uniform

1:20     Move to performance – FOCUS!!

1:36     PERFORM

2:00     Back to trailer to load, put jackets on trailer or truck
            Short celebration of our PHENOMENAL performance
            And back to performance mode…

2:30     We will go back to the stands together, enter single file, sit in block, watch marching groups.  No talking.  Clap after every performance.  Go to concessions.

5:12     Prelims awards ceremony
            We’ll all meet right afterwards to discuss whats next
            You’ll eat concessions before our Finals performance

7:24 – 8:12      We’ll perform somewhere in here for FINALS

9:45     FINALS AWARDS CEREMONY

10:30   Depart – we will not be stopping on the way home

2:30     Arrive in Round Rock and unload

DRIPPING SPRINGS SCHEDULE

10:45  Be at band hall

10:50  Uniform check (Have full uniform - don't forget black socks!  Also have ROCK DRUMS shirt, wristbands)

11:00  Leave for Dripping Springs

12:15  Arrive - we're in 'performance mode' from here on out

12:25  Unload / setup

12:45  Lunch

1:15  Warmups / show / tuning

2:20  Change to uniform / break.  Have ROCK DRUMS shirt under uniform

2:50  Warmups / show runs

4:15  Move to ready gate

4:25  Ready gate

4:30 PERFORM

4:50  Load equipment

5:30  Awards retreat (section leaders in uniform)

After our performance, we will quickly move equipment to the trailer and change into ROCK DRUMS shirts, then proceed as a group back to the stands.  Enter single file.  Sit in block.  Be sure to have on the correct shirt or you will have to strain your ears very hard to hear the awards presentation from the bus.

6:00  Depart

7:15  Arrive at RRHS and unload
